Functional Range Release Technique

It is a soft tissue evaluation and treatment technique, based on scientific principles.

This technique is not only used to treat injuries, but also to improve the quality and range of motion. It also reduces pain and tension, increases flexibility and improves function to prevent possible injury.

The treatment system makes it possible to specify whether the limitations stem from mechanical, neurological or joint tensions. Specific palpation is important to clarify the diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Once the abnormal tension localized and defined in the tissue; the professional will use specific release protocols in order to correct the dysfunction.

Practitioners certified in Functional Range Release (FR) use passive care; including soft tissue work and joint mobilizations and acute care; including the prescription of exercises and rehabilitation, in order to resolve the conditions addressed. This technique is effective for treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and dysfunctions involving different tissues (nerves, muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, etc.). Emphasis is placed on dysfunctional movements to regulate tissue condition connective tissue and its cellular components.
